I relocated to Alabama from California 12 years ago after my divorce. I have two kids both in college. I am very proud of my kids!!! I don't get to see my daughter much but my son lives with me. I have raised two wonderful kids and I know that I am responsible for a lot of how they turned out. Being a single parent is a very hard but rewarding job when you see the end result. I would not change one thing about that part of my life. I am still looking for my life partner and look forward to embracing love again. I would like to get married again someday but if I don't I have accepted that as well but I am not giving up on finding Mr. Right, that sounds corny but true. I was raised by a homemaker Mother and working Father so my values are those of the typical family of that time period. I have tried to raise my kids with the same values. I do attend Church when my work schedule permits. I work in the retail industry so sometimes my Sundays are full. I do have cats although I am an animal lover I just don't have the place to put a dog. I was raised to respect and love the outdoors and to this day I still enjoy a weekend camping trip complete with fishing, hiking, etc. I do like the beach but I tend to enjoy the mountains more. There is nothing like a campfire and waking up to the sounds of the woods. I enjoy most types of music except Rap. I enjoy most movies but I prefer to watch at home while snuggling on the couch. I also like a good glass of wine now and then. I believe in dating a while first before jumping in the sack but I also believe in being affectionate, hand holding and kissing. To sum me up....I am just a normal girl that tends to be a little old fashioned when it comes to dating. I believe in showing each other the respect that each of us deserves, I believe in honesty, integrity and yes I do believe in love at first sight.
