Smile I am someone of mixed race. I have a very diverse family. Grew up in Harlem, NYC. Interracial dating is not a big deal to me, although I have never done it myself. I have always thought of myself as black when I was little. The kids at school teased me, called me cream baby. My great grandmother always told me that I was Cherokee, and be a proud Cherokee. Then there's Japanese, Irish. I was confused and began putting 'other' as my race on forms. But white people always checked black. I guess that's what I am to them. I, unfortunately do have a bias against black men and women. This is because of life experiences. I can't trust them as a group. Individuals, no problem. I guess that is why I am interested in exploring relationships with races other than African-American.
