Love is color blind. Hi! Lets see where do I start? I am 52; live in the South, where I was also born and raised. I have 2 adult children.

I am here hoping to find my heart-mate. I've been on this mission a few weeks now. So far all I have ran into are scammers, but I refuse to give up the search. It's been over 6 years since I've been in a relationship;not because guys hasn't try to approach me, but because I needed time to get to know and understand me better; I've learned a lot about myself and has been able to use mistakes from the past to prepare me for you, my future mate. When I enter into a relationship, my intention is for it to last forever, but all things has its purpose.
You probably can tell from my writing so far that I am a sentimental type of person.I am also spiritual,loving, devoted, monogamous; the most loyal, dependable, understanding, and helpful person you may ever meet(at least that's what people are always telling me),(I would love for you to be able to say those things about me too; and I about you).I enjoy writing poems;I like singing and making a person feel their very best.
The type of mate my heart seeks, is someone who doesn't smoke, drink,or do drugs(my heart is not rejecting people who do these things from a judgmental angle, but because my heart wants to satisfy your cravens, your urges and be your habit).A person who is kind and thoughtful; someone who will open the door for me and pull out the chair;(yes I am a hopelessly romantical kind of person too).I'm not perfect and I don't expect you to be either; but I am looking for real love not cartoon love.
