Friends (if any),
I think a first date ought to have an easy exit. I remember some years ago I ask this woman out for dinner. We knew each other but apparently not well enough. I went over to her apartment to pick her up. Being debonair, I did not just honk the car horn but instead went to her door to escort her. She opened the door and her appareance wasn't at all hard on my eyes. Anyway, she asked me in and the first thing I noticed was a grand piano in her apartment. I told her that I was unaware that she played the piano. She told me that she didn't play the piano that it was for her children. I then said that I did not know she had children. She told me that I was correct, she had no children. The piano was for the children she was going to have. These future children were going to learn to play the piano, my date proclaimed. Well, the idea of buying a beautiful piano for forthcoming children scared the crap out of me. I went through the whole evening in a state of cold apprehension. That was a long evening. Truth is, I was glad to get her home and out of my car.
On another occasion I went out with a woman and we hit it off right away. She thought I was witty, and even a little suave. I hoped the night would never end. About two dates later I suggested that we get a state (Ohio) map and throw a dart at it, and wherever it landed on the map, we'd spend the weekend there. That's what we did. She closed her eyes and threw the dart. We ended up spending the weekend near Clifton, Ohio. We found an old mill/restaurant, did some hiking in a state nature preserve, and spent a satisfactory amount of time in the state of joint nudity, if you know what I mean.
Anyway, the point of this diatribe is, when it comes to dating suggestions, it kind of depends on a number of factors.

`LOL @ her scaring the heck out of you with the piano bought for her future kids. I can see how that could very well make a guy run far away and fast. On the flip side, at least she was honest, but it's a case of where honesty may not have been the best policy in this case.
Glad you had a great date another time though. Sounds amazing!
