I'm a fairly laid back individual who enjoys sports and travelling a lot. I'm a professional person from very workingclass roots. I was born in Scotland, but roots on my father's side go back to the Dominican Republic. I have a strong love of all things international, especially people, which explains why I have travelled so much in my life to date. Been to USA, Costa Rica, China, Hong Kong, North Africa, and all the usual European destinations, Spain, France, Holland etc, and loved every minute of it. Praticularly China. If you haven't been, go. It is a fantastic country with wonderful culture and hospitable people, nothing like the stereotypes they feed us in the western media. My likes? Open-mindedness, intelligence, Che Guevara, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, and of course, every Munchkin in "The Wizard of Oz". I love comedy, have a wicked sense of humour and love to debate from the sublime to the ridiculous. My dislikes? Low foreheaded, knuckle-dragging imbecilic racists who can't see further than the pigmentation of a human skin; people who are happy in their ignorance; people who try to justify racism and deny the holocaust, anyway you get the picture.
I love the countryside, the ocean and sandy beaches. As for the opposite sex, well everyone has qualities, but I like females to be females, and IQ is neither here nor there for me in that department. Good manners and pleasanr personality is everything in my book. And my perfect woman? They are all perfect, just like men - until we find out otherwise! And finally, why am I on this site? I don't know, I'm just waiting for the adveture to begin.
