The Book at the End of the Shelf "Looking for"?
Same as you. I imagine my expectations are different, my priorities may not match. See, I can tell you I'm debt-free, which sounds great, but then to tell you I live off investments and don't actually work, well, that sounds crummy--Right? Or to say that I don't drug and rarely drink, that's a big plus to a lot of you, I know...but, to say I don't want *you* drinking--hopefully *at all*--now, not so good. Seriously. Am I right?
If I told you I had a wild sense of humor, that I was the class clown back in school, that I'll make you laugh 'til you cry--that's Wonderful, isn't it?...but, if I told you I act that way an awful lot, that sarcasm is a part of it, and that I don't stop on command...well, a red flag, you'd think. Or that I'm a childless widower, hey!--most of you sigh with relief and say, "Hooray! No angry ex, no tricky steps!"...but, if I said I didn't like kids *at all*...you'd think I'm a freak.
I'm a writer, an author,a playwright, a poet with many credits--*Wow*. Interesting! But, I'm in it for the love of it, and go out of my way not to turn a dime on it. "*Omigod*. That's insane." How about that I have a genius IQ? COOL!! But, I never got my degree, because I'm anti-university, think anything past high school is a moneymaking sham. "Whoa, dude! Let's not go *too* far!"
As intimate as can be. PLUS!! It's all about what I'm looking at. MINUS!! Don't like to get angry, do so as little as I can. PLUS!! I don't want *you* to get angry, not to my face, anyway. MINUS!! I'll spend as much time together as you want, you and me, only you and me, always, always. PLUS!! Because I'm not social, and probably won't go to family functions with you, or out with friends. MINUS!! Don't smoke, but you better not, either. Strong faith, but never attend church. The list goes on and on. Like most folks, only more extreme.

Oh! And, I'm looking for someone who finds All of Above Cool and Worth Knowing, instead of just a P
