I am 27 year old male. I am currently working in Finance. Though there is a recession, business is better. A few years ago I would say "on the weekends I like to drink a 12 pack, go to the bar, spend $200, get into fights" and all that jazz. I was tired of spending $400/weekend, getting sick from all the drinking and waking up in someone's home, hotel room, bar, and the worst a church! (seriously). Hence, I do not drink on the weekends. I spend my time wisely. Whether it is going to a ball game, hiking, camping, theater, museums, movies, beaches, the activities are endless. So when someone asks me on Monday "how was your weekend" I dont have to say that I had gotten s--- faced and can't remember, and of course only to have that person turn around and think to themselves " what a loser". I can tell them what I did, who I was with and how it all ended up and continue a conversation. This doesnt mean I dont like people who drink. My dad's entire family are a bunch of drunks.(the fun kind)
It just means I dont drink and I dont care if you do.
I work hard and love to work. Everything in my life is taking a turn for the better. But it is missing one thing......
