I like to date interracially I really enjoy dating black guys I'm not sure why but have always been drawn to them even when I was a kid I had friends. Mostly in Santa Monica where my grandmother lived. I always thought it was strange growing up in Orange County why there were never any black kids in my school. When I was younger and in college studying music I was in a group that traveled across the US singing in Churches. We stopped at a church in North Carolina and the pastor told the director the black guy we had in our group would have to stay on the bus. I told the director that we should move on and not sing at that church he said no he will just have to sit on the bus. I said if he was not going to sing I would not sing and sit on the bus. I thought it was terrible. That was my first experience with racism. We sat and talked for a few hours about how that was just an everyday part of his life. When I came out and started dating black guys I found a strange kind of racism in the gay world. I though we were over that kind of thing when I was in Palm Springs a few months ago at a gay place when as we left I heard someone call out "hey look at that oreo cookie". We looked around and could not determine who said it but it was just very annoying and disappointing something like that would come from the gay community.
