In high school I only dated white girls. At the university things changed dramatically but not on my part. An accidental encounter (there are no coincidences in life) changed my life forever. This drop dead gorgeous black woman lost her grip on her books and I was there to help her collect them - I wouldn't have said hello otherwise except to be polite.
I saw her two more times during that class day and at the end of the day we spent six hours together - talking. WOW!
Why is it that we can't seem to get past hello to WOW? We dated for three years and were forever changed by our experience. We are still very good friends - we proudly claim the joy of reaching beyond our taught bias to very passionate and profound love. |

.Life is not about the number of breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away! Looking for someone to take my breath away, if I sound cheesy, well this is exactly how I feel. I want to fall deliriously, salaciously in love again! I am a warm, passionate, fun person looking for gentle, kind, caring, educated and chivalrous man. I am well educated, well traveled and cultured individual who loves the arts, enjoys theatre, museums and of course: music and dance. I particularly enjoy ballroom and salsa dancing, working out and hanging out at bookstores finding good reads.

.If you want to get past the hello stage. Just figure out something they like to talk about. Generally speak about what you know and before you know it things are flowing quite nicely. If you can't figure something out then maybe you should not talk with them. |

`To get past hello... you have to first say hello! I don't know if it's height... or what that prevents men from other skin tones approaching me but hello is all you need. A simple introduction of who you are, and that maybe you would like to sit down and chat sometime. Women (black or otherwise) aren't as hard to talk to as some would have you think.
